Hi.

I was always meaning to come back to Nic's for a proper dine-in experience as I'd just had some donuts on the fly on my first visit. I visited for lunch this week and I was blown away by three words I've never heard in a sentence before: VIETNAMESE CHICKEN TWERKER.

Yeh, it's a ridiculous name for a sandwich and to be honest, I try to avoid saying the word "twerk" wherever possible. But the combination of peanut butter, roast chicken, avocado, coriander, lime salsa with mango sauce sounded just so. damn. good that I had to put my feelings aside and order it. You can have it as a bagel, panini, ciabatta or sandwich - I just went for plain white bread for mine. It's £4.75 which I think is pretty reasonable for a sandwich these days.

My sandwich arrived pretty quickly and looked pretty standard as a toasted sandwich. STOP! Please don't judge this sandwich on the look, it is all about the taste. The combination of flavours is weird but it works perfectly. I would rate it up there with my top sandwiches of all time, it was THAT good. I don't even really think I can go into too much detail about it because I am thisclose to getting in the car and going back to Nic's for another one already. It's really good. If you like the separate components that go into the sandwich them you really MUST try this sandwich. I now see lots of twerking in my future which I really didn't expect to be how my 2016 was going to turn out.

Note: they have a loo if you're eating in at Nic's. I always assumed they didn't so I thought I'd mentioned.
