Hi.

Welcome to The Glasgow Food Blog. I love Glasgow, and I love food. It's a match made in heaven.

Nic's NYC Deli
50 St Enoch Square, Glasgow City Centre G1 4DH

I really do love Nic's but I actually don't visit it all that often - mainly before the subcrawl! If you're starting at St Enoch Square, pre-subcrawl scran at Nic's is highly recommended.

This Nic's is pretty wee and there's a small outside eating area. We were in for a couple of sandwiches and the lady working was super friendly and chatty which was nice! She even offered us some subcrawl tips but of course we're experts now. Haha.

I got a Vietnamese Chicken Twerker as I'd tried it at the Byres Rd branch and loved it, and I have to say this one was just as good. So delicious. If you like satay flavours, you'll love this sandwich. Two sandwiches came in at just under £10 which is good value for such well-made and well-stuffed sandwiches! Their menu is pretty imaginative and I like that they do unusual sandwiches that aren't just the basic options you can get anywhere.

The only thing that puts me off this location is the fact there isn't a bigger seating area/customer loo, but it's perfect for takeaway so I'll still give it a full 5 stars.
