Hi.

Welcome to The Glasgow Food Blog. I love Glasgow, and I love food. It's a match made in heaven.

Mora Bar & Kitchen
1166 Argyle Street, Finnieston G3 8TE

I'd never tried Lamora before it got a renovation + rebrand to Mora Bar & Kitchen but I've got to say, I really like the new place - the decor is slick without being too fancy and there's some seriously nice lighting around the place.

The menu is concise (a big tick in my book) and has a really nice selection - pizzas, pastas and mains. There's about 5 in each section and prices are pretty standard - £10 for a pizza, £12 for a main pasta. I was really early for dinner with my friends so ordered a bruschetta to kill off my hanger - it arrived quickly and I won't lie, I was a little surprised to just get one slice of bread for £4.50. It was absolutely delicious but for me, I think 2 slices would be more suitable for that price.

I was glad I'd been able to scoff my bruschetta before my friends arrived so they'll never know that I had a sneaky starter without them (except for when they read this review... hi gals!). We all ordered different pizzas for our mains along with some fries and focaccia to share. I got the ham and garlic mushroom pizza which was just lovely - I got it because I've not had that combination on a pizza before, and was very impressed. It ended up being a pretty cheap meal all up and I was really impressed with the food, so would definitely go back for another meal and to try more of the menu next time.
