Hi.

Welcome to The Glasgow Food Blog. I love Glasgow, and I love food. It's a match made in heaven.

Kind Crusts
160 Garthland Drive, Glasgow G31 2SP

Not being of the vegan persuasion, I was lured into this place by a photo they'd posted on social media of their sausage rolls. They looked amazing!

I'd heard about Kind Crusts quite a bit and was excited to check them out. The cafe is a little hard to find as it's off the main strip of Dennistoun but just follow your Yelp map and you'll arrive out the front of an adorable looking cafe which is bright green, so it's hard to miss!

They have seating out the front as well as a bench window seat inside. I was happy to just grab my sausage roll and go though. They have a great range of food aside from the stuff they make - crisps, drinks, snack bars etc. The sausage rolls were being baked fresh in the oven so I decided to wait 3 minutes for one rather than get something else, and I was so happy I did as it was totally delicious. I actually don't know if you'd notice that it was vegan - I asked what was in it and it's vegan sausage and chutney which was just perfect. I actually wish I'd gotten two as I liked it that much.

They also do fresh sandwiches, pastries, coffee, breakfast bagels and even though all the food is vegan, it isn't just salad and vegetables - they do cheese (cheeze), bacon (fakon), hummus, falafel etc, so some really interesting stuff.

I really enjoyed my visit here and will definitely be back ASAP.
