Hi.

Welcome to The Glasgow Food Blog. I love Glasgow, and I love food. It's a match made in heaven.

325 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow G2 3HW

I really liked Dumpling Inn so was sad to see it go but I believe the people behind Hong Kong Bite are the same folks. The restaurant is casual - a good place to pop in for a quick meal, it's nothing fancy though. There was a group of us so they seated us at a round table in the middle which had stools which wasn't totally ideal but as I said, we were just in for a quick meal.

The menu is simple - mostly rice dishes with a couple of noodle/congee dishes. I ordered aubergine and pork with rice for £7.50 and was really impressed - a big portion and really filled me up after a day of drinking.

Staff were friendly, the vibe was relaxed and the price was very reasonable. Even including a couple of beers I think it was about £12 each. I'll definitely be back.
