Six by Nico is the talk of the town this year in Glasgow – they stormed onto the Finnieston scene with their new restaurant offering a set 6-course menu which changes every 6 weeks.
We met at Glasgow Queen Street Station and after a bit of a mix up with left-luggage, headed to Finnieston for lunch at The Gannet.
We were sitting on the mezzanine which I totally love - and were tucked away in a corner near the bar so it was like having dinner in a lush oasis with no one else around!
Gamba is a favourite of ours, and I'm embarrassed that it's been so long between visits.
There was a chilled vibe in the bar and it was pretty quiet aside from some tables with kids. I enjoyed having a drink here and would definitely come back.
Yasss - I've got to say, I really, really love the new McPhabbs.

I've been a few times throughout the year and believe I've found my perfect meal - crab cappuccino and scallop & truffle tagliatelle for main. I was super excited for this!
