Getting around Japan on trains – it seems impossible, but I've got some tips for you.
Welcome to The Glasgow Food Blog. I love Glasgow, and I love food. It's a match made in heaven.
Getting around Japan on trains – it seems impossible, but I've got some tips for you.
Not going to lie, I was ridiculously excited for Papercup opening a 2nd location in Glasgow.
It was our 5th wedding anniversary at the start of June so we decided to go back to Japan for a 2 week holiday. We went to Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya, Sapporo and back to Tokyo.
What an awesome place! I'm not sure it counts as new anymore but we finally made it in for dinner before seeing Future of the Left at the gig space, Saint Luke's. It's all really part of the same building but the restaurant & bar has it's own name.
I love love love bubble tea and I would say that 95% of that love is because of Tempo. I always love popping to Queen St for a city centre bubble tea, and now they're at Silverburn which is super convenient for the days when I'm working at home and need a pep!
Wow - Dakota brings something really fresh and special to the heart of Glasgow with their new Deluxe hotel just off Blythswood Square.
Catch is a really good chippy but the prices mean I really can't give it 5 stars. I mean, our dinner for two came to nearly £50. Ouch.
I seriously love sushi, and when I spotted the neon lights of Pickled Ginger, I knew this was somewhere I had to try.
We were sitting on the mezzanine which I totally love - and were tucked away in a corner near the bar so it was like having dinner in a lush oasis with no one else around!
I'm a little bit in love with this place and was really impressed after my visit yesterday - delicious food, great decor and friendly staff.
Gamba is a favourite of ours, and I'm embarrassed that it's been so long between visits.
I also love the brunch offerings and have even had eggs florentine as an afternoon snack.
There was a chilled vibe in the bar and it was pretty quiet aside from some tables with kids. I enjoyed having a drink here and would definitely come back.
Wow, the Rum Shack totally blew my socks off - and I didn't even have any rum!
I was starting to feel like I was the only person in Glasgow who hadn't made it along to Tantrum Doughnuts.
I have a shocking confession to make. You might not even believe me. But it's true... I don't like cake.
Yasss - I've got to say, I really, really love the new McPhabbs.
I'm a big fan! This is definitely an old-man kind of pub, but it's clean and welcoming so don't let that put you off if you aren't an old man.
Brunch! Is it the best meal of the day? I'm going to say yes, yes it is.
